Snowflake Nordic

Snowflake Nordic Ski Club is a K-8 cross country ski program, our mission is to create a fun and rewarding atmosphere for area youth to learn proper cross country ski technique and to encourage active, healthy lifestyles. The 2012 season marks our third year of this exciting program and we are expecting over 60 youth skiers! Snowflake Nordic offers professional coaching and a world class venue, with the ability to make snow should mother nature not cooperate. We currently have over 5 kilometers of groomed trails and have plans to extend our trail network by a considerable amount over the next few years. Last year, Snowflake Nordic was fortunate enough to receive a equipment grant to assist us with the purchase of a fleet of quality rental equipment. This equipment is available to all participants for a $55.00 fee to cover the costs of maintaining the skis. Our practice sessions are held every Monday afternoon from 3:45 to 5:00, the first practice is Monday Jan. 2nd and our last practice is Feb. 20th. The cost of the program is $25.00, which includes everything except rental equipment (if needed).
