89th Annual
2012 Snowflake Ski Jumping Tournament

Update as of 2/3/2012:
The 89th annual Snowflake Ski Tournament is on schedule for February 3rd and 4th, 2012. Even with the unseasonably warm temperatures, the Snowflake Ski Club hill crew has the jump in pristine condition. Join us this Friday and Saturday for another outstanding Snowflake ski jumping competition!
2012 Ski Jumping Tournament Schedule:
Thursday, February 2nd
Open training with media day: 2 p.m.-6 p.m.
Hospitality Night: Rod & Gun in Timber Coulee: 6 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Friday, February 3rd
Kick-off breakfast at Borgen’s Cafe: 6 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
Open training: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Team captains meeting at Rod & Gun building: 3:30 p.m.
Registration deadline for skiers: 5:00 p.m.
Opening Ceremonies: 7 p.m.
Competition with fireworks between rounds: 7:30 p.m.
Long standing jump will follow the competition
Live music featuring The FREEZERS at the Rod & Gun: 9:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m.
Saturday, February 4th
Open training: 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
Registration deadline for skiers: 11:00 a.m.
Opening Ceremonies: 12:00 p.m.
Competition: 12:30 p.m.
Long standing jump and awards ceremony will follow competition.
Live music featuring Tunnel Vision at the Rod & Gun: 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Gold Buttons
Show additional support for the Snowflake Ski Club by purchasing a gold button for $50. Individuals that purchase a gold button will receive a free kick-off breakfast at Borgen’s Cafe on Friday Morning, Feb. 3rd, 2012 and a round of golf for the 2012 season.
Military and Veterans Admission
The Snowflake Ski Club continues to show its support for U.S. service men and women by allowing all current and former military service members and their spouses to be admitted free of charge to the tournament. To gain admission, each veteran or service member will need to show one of the following with a photo ID: a current military ID card, VFW card, Legion card, DAV current membership card, or DD 214 Form (record of discharge). Children under the age of 18 whose parent is currently on active duty in the National Guard or Reserves or is retired from any branch of the military is also admitted free. Each service member will be given a special button to be worn on their clothing to indicate their military affiliation.
Admission Prices:
Standard Button: $20 at the gate
Gold Button: $50 at the gate
Children 12 and under: Free
