OPERATION PLASTIC MATTING UPDATE
Fall, 2024
Your donations in 2022-2024 have completely funded Operation Plastic! We were able to acquire used plastic from another club, bringing our costs down. We have disassembled the purchased plastic and have completed installing it on our 5 Meter (now 6 Meters) and 10 Meter hills. Ceramic inrun on the scaffold has us ready to use these 2 hills this fall, for our first ever Junior Ski Jumping Tournament on Plastic. JUMP HIGHER INITIATIVE
Your donations to Friends of Snowflake will fund junior ski jumping and capital campaign projects. We invite kids to try ski jumping at no cost, until they decide the sport is right for them. Once they decide, ski jump fees are kept low so that the sport is affordable. Season fees include use of equipment, coaching, and facilities. Your donation will assist the club to purchase equipment and keep fees low. Ski jumping has great benefits to kids, including socialization, and the development of courage, strength, agility and balance. It’s just plain fun as well.

The Friends of Snowflake Ski Jumping, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization, which partners with the Snowflake Ski Club of Westby, Wisconsin. The mission of the organization is to raise funds to foster national and international ski jumping competitions and further the sport of ski jumping in our community.
