OPERATION PLASTIC MATTING UPDATE

Your donations in 2022-2025 have completely funded Operation Plastic! 2025 was a busy year for volunteers working to reconstruct the 20-Meter jump and prepare it for plastic installation. The project was completed in early fall, and skiers have been enjoying fall ski jumping ever since! The new design offers a safer, more modern version of a ski jump and skis beautifully. We have completed installation of plastic on 3 of the 4 jumps, and will complete the 40 Meter installation in 2026. JUMP HIGHER INITIATIVE – Our Next Project is renovating the 65 Meter Hill for winter ski jumping
Your donations will go toward 2026 renovation of the 65 Meter Hill for winter ski jumping. Modifications are needed to meet regulations and safety requirements. We have decided on this next project based on progress our junior ski jumpers are making, toward jumping on this size hill.

The Friends of Snowflake Ski Jumping, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization, which partners with the Snowflake Ski Club of Westby, Wisconsin. The mission of the organization is to raise funds to foster national and international ski jumping competitions and further the sport of ski jumping in our community.
