Operation Plastic Matting

OPERATION PLASTIC MATTING

Fall, 2023

We are currently fundraising to put plastic matting on four of the junior ski hills at Snowflake Ski Club, with a goal of raising $200,000 to complete the project. Plastic matting will allow our young athletes to train year around, as opposed to the current season of one to three months. This will allow them to progress in the sport, with a goal of sending our ski jumpers to national competitions and the Olympics. Having a year around ski jumping complex will also promote tourism, as we host year around training and competition in beautiful Timber Coulee, outside of Westby, Wisconsin.
